Classroom and Utilization

For the fall semester, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board monitors the average hours per week of classes held in rooms designated as classrooms and class labs. The standard for classrooms is 38 hours per week and for class labs the standard is 25 hours per week. Texas A&M currently meets the lab standard, but is below the 38 hours per week classroom standard (TAMU utilization in Fall 2005 was 33.59 hours per week). The information in this section examines the utilization rates for each classroom, as well as any other rooms which have classes in them.
